**Job Summary**
Targray is looking for an Instructional Designer to join the Learning and Development team. The individual will produce quality instructional materials and be involved in the planning, designing, developing, and evaluating of different learning programs and initiatives.
**Responsibilities**
- Design and develop instructional materials and learning assets to improve employee’s performance and capabilities within the organization.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify learning needs and objectives.
- Integrate course materials, assessments, and learning activities in the LMS.
- Deliver and facilitate “train the trainer” and presentation sessions, both virtually and in person.
- Show creativity when designing and developing (or recommending) learning materials such as scripts, text, graphics, audio, video, animation, gaming and multimedia to support learning needs.
- Participate in the evolution of the L&D design strategy by contributing ideas and suggesting improvements.
- Establish open communication with the L&D team for continuous adjustments.
- Participate in quality assurance processes and ensure that procedures are implemented.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in instructional design or in a related field (i.e., Creative and Applied Arts).
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
- Evidence of solid grounding in developing visual layouts and simple animations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of multimedia technology (PowerPoint, Photoshop, authoring software, animation tools, etc.).
- Demonstrated knowledge working with Learning Management Systems.
- Intermediate level capabilities for image and video editing.
- Strong communication skills and facilitation.
- Evidence of strong ability to establish and maintain work priorities and timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
