Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.
Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree preferred.

**Responsibilities**:
- Work in a multi-disciplinary, product focussed, cross-functional team to deliver business value from artificial intelligence technologies
- Leverage Machine Learning to understand customer needs and identify opportunities to elevate NetSuite’s product experience, and create compelling data stories that drive action
- Transform complex data into business insights and solutions by using the latest technology in machine learning, pattern recognition, text mining, and parallel/distributed computing
- Work on multiple stages of data science projects, including data pipeline, aggregation, feature engineering, modeling, and visualization
- Collaborate with domain experts and other data scientists on Machine Learning solutions to build an appropriate algorithm for specific Machine Learning solvable problems
- Familiarize with the Machine Learning data repository and become a NetSuite data expert to guide product teams in using our data service
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Ph.D. or equivalent Master’s degree, plus 3+ years of industry experience in the Machine Learning domain
- Strong understanding of Machine Learning concepts
- Basic understanding of SQL
- Track record of developing and implementing Machine Learning models using programming (preferably Python)
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Practical experiences in one the following: NLP, Outlier detection, classification, time series forecasting, record linkage, survival analysis
- Experience in algorithm design, code optimization, and data structures
- Experience in distributed processing environments, frameworks, and libraries (PySpark, Ray, Dask, CUDA, others)
