Plant Chemist

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct chemical analysis of plant materials to identify active compounds and assess their properties.
- Research and develop new plant-derived chemicals.
- Use advanced analytical techniques (e.g., chromatography, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry) to separate, identify, and quantify chemical components of plant samples.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in product development and testing.
- Collaborate with other scientists, researchers, and engineers to optimize the extraction and formulation of plant-derived chemicals.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings and experimental results.
- Maintain accurate lab records, including data, protocols, and experimental results.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in plant chemistry and related fields.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Plant Biology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of plant chemistry, phytochemistry, and organic chemistry.
- Experience in laboratory techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with plant-based product development, natural product isolation, or synthetic biology.
- Knowledge of bioactive compounds in plants and their potential health benefits or agricultural uses.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling software.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
