Process Supervisor

The Process Supervisor in the Injection Moulding industry is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the injection moulding process. This role ensures the production process runs smoothly, efficiently, and within established quality standards. The supervisor will manage a team of operators and technicians, coordinate maintenance schedules, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Process Control and Monitoring**:

- Oversee and monitor the injection moulding processes to ensure consistent quality and efficient production.
- Analyze and interpret process data, adjusting parameters as needed to maintain product quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the injection moulding process, machinery, and equipment.
- Conduct regular audits of production processes and suggest improvements to optimize production flow.
- **Team Supervision**:

- Supervise and manage a team of machine operators, technicians, and production workers.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to staff members.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Manage work schedules and ensure proper shift coverage for efficient operation.
- **Production and Efficiency**:

- Coordinate production schedules and ensure targets are met within time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Monitor material usage, cycle times, and machine efficiency to improve production output.
- Manage waste reduction and implement lean manufacturing practices to optimize resources.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications through continuous monitoring and testing.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts when quality deviations occur and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address non-conformance issues and improve processes.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Coordinate with maintenance teams for the regular upkeep and servicing of injection moulding machines.
- Ensure all machines are in good working order and are calibrated to specifications.
- Maintain a preventive maintenance schedule to avoid machine breakdowns and downtime.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Ensure a safe working environment by strictly enforcing safety protocols.
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure staff follow proper safety practices and procedures.
- Investigate incidents or accidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of production data, machine maintenance, and any process adjustments.
- Prepare and submit reports on production performance, including output, quality, and downtime.
- Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and company standards.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Diploma or certification in Plastics Technology, Manufacturing, or a similar discipline (preferred).
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in injection moulding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven experience in overseeing injection moulding processes, including equipment troubleshooting, process optimization, and team management.
- **Skills & Knowledge**:

- Strong knowledge of injection moulding machinery and tooling.
- Understanding of process control, quality management, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems related to moulding processes.
- Proficiency in using production management software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments.

Pay: ₹11,669.76 - ₹20,000.00 per month
