We have an urgent hiring for Safety Officer for a manufacturing industry, Location is Solan, Himachal Pradesh

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System.
- Strategic planner for Environment, Health and Safety, employee safety service, and staff training, supervision, and team mentoring.
- Energetic and self-motivated player/builder at ease in high-stress, fast-paced environments with emerging and multiple responsibilities.
- Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
- Inspect the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.
- Prepares and schedules **training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.**
- Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
- Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
- Ensure effective monitoring and upkeeping of Fire Detection and Fire protection Equipment
- Effective monitoring of the Frist Aid And Safety Equipment (PPES) available, stock replenishment, issue record and usage
- Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety, and Health, or related field required Master’s degree desirable.
- 3-4 years of related experience preferred.

Salary : 35k to 55k
- Knowledge of ISO standards: 9001, 14001 & 45001
- Preferably an Internal Auditor for ISO 14001 & 45001
- Ensure effective working of PCD devices, ETP, STP, RO, DG, Ammonia Plant.. For Safety and compliances with environmental standards. Advising and instructing on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
- Maintain the Work permit system.
- Laisoning with PCB - for Renewals, HWA, Disposal, and submission of Returns.
- Ensure management of systems and procedures w.r.t ISO 14001 & 45001
- Conduct Safety Briefings for Visitors, Contractors, and employees.
- Lead the Customer ESG Audits, from Environment and Safety Perspective.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
