**Job Title**: Computer Faculty - COBOL Specialist

**Location**: Telangana State Aviation Academy, Bownpally, Hyderabad

**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach COBOL programming, focusing on legacy system maintenance, debugging, and modernization.
- Design and deliver lectures, practical labs, and projects that enhance students' understanding of COBOL.
- Create and update curriculum materials aligned with industry needs and advancements in COBOL.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering an engaging learning environment.
- Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with peers to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences and modernize teaching methods.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: BTech, (CSE) or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Proficiency in COBOL programming with hands-on experience in mainframe environments.
- Knowledge of JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, or similar tools is highly desirable.
- Prior teaching experience or corporate training is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to students with varied levels of expertise.
- Familiarity with blended teaching methods (classroom and online learning).
- Commitment to fostering a student-centric educational approach.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Exposure to Agile methodologies in legacy system projects.
- Certifications in COBOL or related mainframe technologies (if applicable).
