**Role Description**

Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) is responsible for determining the regulatory and economic capital for operational risks. In addition, the function ensures that the bank's Non-Financial Risk exposure is adequately managed in-line with the group wide risk appetite and NFRM framework. The department supports Management of risk decisions by preparing analyses and reports, validates the approaches and methods used in the OR division (in quantitative and qualitative terms) and verifies business inputs through quality assurance.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Creation and Analysis of weekly, monthly and quarterly group reports based on operational risk framework components (Events, Losses, Key risk metrics, Key risk indicators, Capital data)
- Review and challenge Risk type controllers (RTC), Divisional control officers (DCO) for appropriate commentary/rationale on month on month deviations/ changes in their risk profile
- Engage with relevant RTCs, business ,DCOs for Risk event reporting, Key risk indicators etc to enable access and report key operational risks.
- Support the Group coverage team in London in preparation of senior risk committee packs
- Prepare reports and analyse Group top risks, Divisional top risks to proactively identify existing and emerging top operational risks
- Adhere to principles of Risk data Aggregation and reporting (RDARR) and support activities related to RDARR governance to ensure compliance with BCBS239
- Carry out investigations, reconciliations and analysis to explain trends, outliers, peaks etc
- Initiation of and cooperation in improving existing processes as well as independent implementation of new processes
- Coordinate and respond to enquiries from business divisions and operational risk managers
- Support on ad-hoc requests from the businesses, senior managment
- Cooperation regarding enquiries from auditors and regulators and able to handle any queries raised by them
- Responsible to conduct UAT testing and provide sign-off for release of Dashboards on various IT tools related to NFRM Frameworks.

**Your skills and experience**
- Post Graduate/MBA degree preferably in banking, finance, economics or Business Administration, FRM will be an added advantage
- Outstanding analytical and written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to details
- Self-Starter with an ability to work independently, takes ownership of tasks, project manage them to their completion and deliver under timeliness with high degree of accuracy
- Strong familiarity with risk management framework ( Operational/market/credit risk )
- A prior role or experience with risk management, regulatory reporting, senior committee reporting preferable
- Able to synthesize large amount of data and formulate appropriate conclusions
- Excellent in MS Office (including Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word knowledge); other IT skillsets like VBA, Python, Tableau are highly preferred
- More than five years of professional work experience
