**About the PhonePe Design Team**:
The Design team at PhonePe is a multiplicative mix of product designers, graphics and motion, illustrators, and content designers. We craft trustworthy, intuitive, and empowering products used by millions of people every single day.

As a Content Designer, you will approach design through the lens of language. You'll have the opportunity to shape how millions of users interact with our products and services, from crafting microcopy for user interfaces to developing larger content strategies. Your work will directly contribute to making complex concepts more understandable and our products more user-friendly.

If you're a versatile writer who also excels at organisation, enjoys interacting with people, and can adapt quickly to the needs of a cross-functional team, this role could be the perfect fit for you.

**What you'll do**:

- Craft concise, user-friendly, and compelling copy for our product interfaces
- Proactively identify and improve product language through testing and validation
- Harmonise product and marketing language, balancing clarity with persuasiveness
- Partner with product designers, PMs, developers, and business leadership to ensure consistent, clear and regulation-friendly messaging across PhonePe's products
- Create and maintain internal documentation for content guidelines and best practices
- Define and champion our product's distinctive voice and tone guidelines
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product terminology guide to ensure consistent usage throughout the product
- Collaborate with design, product, business and localisation teams to align product language with user needs and capabilities

**What you’ll need**:

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in UX writing for digital products or services
- A strong portfolio of product-centred writing samples and style guidelines
- A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, Product Design, English, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience in writing clear, compelling, and understandable copy that balances style guides, user needs and business objectives
- Experience working with Figma or other leading design tools
- Comfort in working in cross-functional, agile teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and resolve conflicts diplomatically
- Comfort in leading projects with mínimal direction and handling a large degree of ambiguity
- A strong passion for getting things done in a consistent manner across products and teams
