Admission Counsellor at CGC University

As an Admission Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in helping prospective students navigate the admissions process and make informed decisions about their education. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and assist students in selecting the right program that aligns with their interests, aspirations, and career goals.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Provide detailed information about the university's various programs, admission requirements, and eligibility criteria to prospective students and their families.
2. Engage with prospective students through various channels, whether it be in person, over the phone, or via online platforms.
3. Conduct and organize campus tours, open houses, and information sessions to familiarize prospective students with the university's facilities and resources.
4. Assess and evaluate students' academic and extracurricular achievements to determine their eligibility for admission.
7. Collaborate with other departments, such as academic advisors and faculty members, to provide accurate and up-to-date information about various academic programs.
8. Maintain detailed records of student interactions and admissions-related activities, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
9. Stay updated on current trends and developments in higher education, as well as statutory regulations, to provide accurate and relevant information to prospective students.
10. Attend career fairs, high school visits, and other recruitment events to promote the university and attract prospective students.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Counseling, or related disciplines).
2. Proven experience in student recruitment, counseling, or a related area would be an advantage.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
4. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and effectively address students' concerns and queries.
5. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
6. Knowledge of admissions processes, financial aid, and scholarships in the education sector would be beneficial.
8. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends occasionally, as required by recruitment events and deadlines.
