Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic Academic Counselor to join our educational institution's counseling team. The Academic Counselor plays a vital role in providing personalized guidance and support to students, helping them navigate their academic journey successfully. This position requires a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and faculty.

**Responsibilities**:
Student Guidance: Engage with students one-on-one and in small groups to understand their academic goals, strengths, weaknesses, and interests. Provide personalized counseling to help students make informed decisions about their educational path and course selections.

Academic Planning: Collaborate with students to develop individualized academic plans, taking into account their aspirations and ensuring they meet educational requirements and standards. Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to the plan as needed.

Career Counseling: Assist students in exploring potential career paths and educational opportunities beyond the academic environment. Provide information about various careers, job market trends, and relevant educational pathways to support students in making informed career decisions.

Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to discuss student progress, goals, and areas for improvement. Act as a liaison between students, parents, and faculty to foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

Educational Program Development: Collaborate with academic administrators and faculty to develop and improve counseling programs and services that cater to students' evolving needs and align with educational objectives.

Data Management: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of counseling sessions, academic plans, and student progress. Generate reports and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of counseling initiatives and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in academic counseling or related educational roles is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and faculty.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically and personally.
- Knowledge of academic pathways, educational systems, and career options.
- Familiarity with counseling techniques and intervention strategies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gurugram, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
