Job Summary

A Data Supervisor is responsible for supervising India based resources to support client work including Data Analytics, Data Preparation, File Conversion related work streams. Responsibilities may include developing and delivering training, documenting standard processes, reviewing the work of Staffs and Seniors to make sure they are following established processes and initiatives in a consistent manner, and monitoring and ensuring high quality, on time completion of tasks. Get involved in onboarding new hires as needed.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Supervise multiple Staff and Seniors (generally 4-5) to ensure on time, high quality completion of tasks
- Support managers with training and onboarding of new hires as needed
- Provide training to Staffs and Senior Staffs as needed
- Understand and review work in compliance with the firm's policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities and develop processes to perform tasks more efficiently and consistently in a centralized environment
- Facilitate consistent and timely communication with team members regarding tasks
- Collaborate with US team members on tasks
- Manage multiple tasks and supervise multiple staff to ensure on time, high quality completion of tasks
- Provide support to all data analytics initiatives and data projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

Technical Skills Requirements:

- A minimum of five (5) years of Data analytics experience supporting analytics and data projects and supervising junior Staff
- More than 3 years of dashboard development experience using Power BI or Tableau
- Leverage Microsoft Excel and other data programs/tools (e.g., Monarch, SQL, Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, etc.) as data cleansing / conversion technologies to support audit engagement team by developing and delivering standard file formats
- Comfortable working with Data processing and supporting analytics projects
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines, and supervise multiple staff
- Willing to teach and provide feedback
- Willing to learn and accept feedback
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills to work with onshore data team
- Willingness to learn new tools & improve data manipulation skill set
- Commitment to providing consistent, high-quality results to audit teams

Preferred Skills:

- Experience using Monarch file conversion tool
- Experience using advanced data cleansing functions in Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Alteryx, SQL, Python, R, or Azure as a data cleansing/ETL tool
- Experience using data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with supporting data projects related to Data analytics, Data mining

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Arts

Location
- Within commuting distance from Noida, India

Work Schedule
- A portion of each workday should overlap with the US team’s work schedule to ensure adequate opportunity to communicate with US resources.
- The work schedule is 12 pm to 9 pm (India local time). There may be times when we need to work more than the stated hours below:
The following is an example of a common work schedule:
September through December 45 hours per week

January through April 55 hours per week

May through August 45 hours per week
