Job Duties:
- Prepare and maintain financial records for the organization
- Perform journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Post accounts receivable into a general ledger
- Post bank transactions into a general ledger
- Post payroll into a general ledger
- Assist with financial report writing and analysis
- Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial
data
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to record financial transactions
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Knowledge of corporate accounting procedures and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or similar programs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
