**Enterprise Excellence**:
- Lead and coordinate complex organizational transitions/restructurings/RIFs within and across Regions/ Countries/Groups leveraging existing ER Partners and in partnership with key stakeholders
- Manage severance analysis, adverse impact analysis, legal review, training, scheduling, notifications, communications, and transition plans
- Partner closely with Communications and HRBPs to develop appropriate communication plans and materials for organizational transitions/ restructuring/RIF activities
- Proactively work with TR on severance structure for all countries in APAC
- Work with the Tier2 teams in ensuring Data and reporting is appropriately done for the project/case.
- Ensure a fair process that is legally compliant and consistent with the Medtronic Mission
**Program Leadership for Process Improvements to Organizational Transitional Efforts**
- Assist in the development and improvement of processes, policies, tools, and resources that can be used in organizational transitions/restructurings/RIFs.
**Executional Support for Organizational Transitions**
- Provide logístical support for organizational transitions/restructuring/RIF activities including notification to impacted employees, answering questions, arranging schedules, etc.
**APAC ER Investigations**:
- Effective case management of complex people related issues such as: ER issues, disciplinary actions, legal issues (harassment, discrimination etc), performance management (including Performance Improvement Plans and Coaching plans), policy interpretation and investigations.
- Partners with Legal and/or, Compliance, Audit in conducting investigations, researches policies/practices, creates and gathers documentation, makes determinations and implements resolutions when applicable. Identifies best practices and learning lessons to influence change and improvement in the organization.
- Proactively reduces Employee Relations related risk through risk assessments and actionable feedback.
- Maintains strict confidentiality throughout conversations and investigations. Manage highly confidential human resources information and exercise sound judgment in handling or working with confidential data and situations.
- Ensures that the Company operates within current and local employment law, policies and procedures, and applies good practice, creating and sustaining our reputation as a good employer, eg. by advising employees and managers appropriately.
- May be required to travel to other locations to provide support.
- Manage special projects and support other locations with ER work as needed depending on workload.
- Maintain strong business acumen while maintaining objectivity in work
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR work experience including ER issues, disciplinary actions/proceedings, legal issues (harassment, discrimination, leave etc), performance management (including Performance Improvement Plans and Coaching plans), Conflict management; policy interpretation and investigations
- Strong understanding of organizational transitions/restructuring and working knowledge of general ER issues.
- Solid dispute resolution, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated excellence in organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and multi-task
- Demonstrated strengths in listening, fact-finding, and exploratory skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion as well as maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law
- Experience in project management
- Experience in program/process design, as well as process improvement skill set
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- University Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
