Job Description: Logistics Export Executive

Position: Logistics Export Executive

Location: Chandigarh

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end export logistics, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipping arrangements.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of export orders.
- Prepare, verify, and handle all required export documentation (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities to secure approvals and resolve any shipping issues.
- Monitor and track shipments, proactively addressing any delays or complications.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, international trade laws, and company policies.
- Manage freight cost analysis and negotiate rates with logistics providers to optimize costs.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on shipping metrics, logistics performance, and cost efficiency.
- Address customer inquiries and provide updates on shipping status and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve the efficiency of logistics operations and implement best practices.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in export logistics or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping practices.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP or shipping management software.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international trade agreements.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
