**Job Title**: Sheet Metal Designer (SolidWorks Expert)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop sheet metal components, assemblies, and enclosures using **SolidWorks (Sheet Metal Module)**.
- Create **3D models, detailed 2D drawings, and flat patterns** for fabrication.
- Ensure **DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly)** principles are applied.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for **laser cutting, bending, punching, welding, and assembly**.
- Generate **BOM (Bill of Materials), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical documentation**.
- Conduct **FEA (Finite Element Analysis) & tolerance analysis** for strength and durability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
- Review and update designs based on customer feedback and production needs.
- Ensure adherence to **ISO & ASME standards** in sheet metal design.

**Requirements**:

- **Degree** in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, production Engineering or a related field.
- **2+ years** of experience in **sheet metal design** using **SolidWorks (Sheet Metal Module)**.
- Strong knowledge of **fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding, riveting, etc.)**.
- Familiarity with **material selection** and industry standards (ANSI, ASME, ISO).
- Proficiency in **GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and surface finishes**.
- Experience with **PDM/PLM software** is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with **CNC machining & programming** for sheet metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of **automotive, aerospace, or electrical enclosures**.
- Hands-on experience with **cost estimation and supplier coordination**.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
