**SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Financial**
- Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts. Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures as per hotel standard.
- Maintain monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies related to bar.

**Product**
- Plan and present bar menu. Serve snacks and drinks to the customer.
- Check identification of the guest to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products. Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with hotel standard drink recipes. Clear ashtrays as and when required. Perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays. Provide recommendations and suggestions to guest for choosing Drinks and Snacks.
- Keep the bar counter and work area neat and clean at all times. Prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies.

- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

**Organization & People**
- Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons. Satisfying patron requests in a timely manner
- Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories. Slicing, pitting, and preparing fruit garnishes for drinks. Planning bar menu.
- Taking beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail. Balancing cash receipts.
