Admission Counselor

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Student Recruitment & Outreach**:

- Actively recruit prospective students by attending fairs, open houses, and community events.
- Conduct informational sessions and school tours for prospective families.
- Develop and execute strategies to engage and attract diverse student populations.
- **Application & Admissions Process**:

- Guide prospective families through the admissions process, ensuring they understand requirements and deadlines.
- Conduct interviews with applicants and their families to assess fit with the school’s culture and academic programs.
- Communicate decisions to applicants and ensure timely follow-up.
- **Data Management & Reporting**:

- Provide regular updates to the Director of Admissions on enrollment progress and student demographics.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations on admission trends, statistics, and forecasts.
- **Collaboration with School Staff**:

- Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials, advertisements, and campaigns.
- Coordinate with faculty and administration to ensure a seamless transition for incoming students.
- Assist in organizing events such as open houses, campus tours, and informational nights.
- **Student Retention & Enrollment**:

- Support families throughout the enrollment process, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
- Help guide families in making financial aid decisions, working with the financial aid office as needed.
- Follow up with accepted students to ensure continued interest and commitment to enrolling.
- **Customer Service & Family Relations**:

- Serve as the main point of contact for prospective families and provide exceptional customer service.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospective families, students, and community members.
- Address any issues or challenges related to the admissions process, ensuring a positive experience for all applicants.
- **Event Planning & Coordination**:

- Assist in planning and executing on-campus and virtual admissions events, such as open houses, information sessions, and parent tours.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners for the smooth running of events.
- **Compliance & Ethics**:

- Ensure that the admissions process is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, including non-discrimination policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive student information in accordance with school policies and privacy regulations.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or customer service (preferably in a school or higher education setting).
- Strong knowledge of the school’s programs, policies, and academic offerings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using admissions software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
