**Job Title**: Tools Programmer**

**_ **Note**: Final Designation / Level will be decided based on the relevant experience and _**_interview ratings_**

**Job Summary:

- **

**Main responsibilities**:

- Develop tools and pipelines that will improve the productivity and autonomy of the production team
- Design, implement, debug, optimize and iterate on new and existing engine systems and tools, in direct collaboration with end users (designers, artists, animators )
- Analyse existing functions in the engine and see how they could be enhanced to fulfill the intentions of the project
- Gather engine and game editor technical knowledge to provide technical support/advice to the teams and solve the production problems
- Identify the needs of the production team and collect their feedback
- Ability to work independently on standalone tasks
- Participate in design and code review process
- Document the work in purpose to share knowledge and enable users to use the new systems and functionalities

**Qualifications:

- **
- 5-8 years’ experience in tools programming, ideally in the video game industry or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent training.
- Excellent knowledge of C++, C#, WPF, Winform
- Good knowledge of Software Engineering principles
- Relevant experience as a Tools Programmer on a AAA project is a big plus
- Experience of game engines such as Unity, Unreal, CryEngine, etc is a plus
- Knowledge of 3D programming, rendering pipelines is a plus
- Ability to understand user needs and take them into account when programming
- Proactive, autonomous, fast learner, team player with good interpersonal skills
