Basudha Laboratory for Conservation is the country’s - and perhaps the world’s - only research laboratory that receives no funding support from any governmental and corporate institution and works for the benefit to the country’s peasant farmers and forest people.

Job description:
(i) DNA-based identification of different indigenous breeds of domesticated animals,including cattle,ducks and fowl;
(ii) Building up biochemical and molecular database of selected animals and their breeds in South Asia.

Required skills:
(a) Familiarity with PCR, DNA gel electrophoresis and biochemical analytical techniques.
(b) Experience of work with bioinformatic software.

Desired skills:
At least 1 year of experience in molecular biological work.

Emolument offered:
INR 25K (consolidated) + 1K (for HRA) p.m.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
