As a Facilities Engineering Manager Staff, you will play a key role in co-ordinating support activities across the engineering team and some stream engineering activities. You will act as a single point of contact with a number of functions to support in the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the product stream.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Responsible for purchasing all non-production consumables and some common production consumables for the area raising purchase orders using GSK SAP system.
- Provide support for escalation of Engineering issues with Engineering management teams.
- Reconcile purchasing card expenditure and proactive cost cutting initiatives.
- Co-ordinate the attendance of Engineering staff at site/stream events.
- Co-ordinate logístical arrangements, including travel, accommodation, venue, and catering for complex meetings and visits.
- Assist with arrangements for visitors on site.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Engineering Department and update departmental reports and metrics where required.
- Provide administrative assistance for employee recognition system to include provision of breakfast vouchers, bravo cards and ordering of voucher stock.
- Ensure that tracking system is being used effectively across the supply chain.
- Update system for management team and provide support to Engineering.
- Provide recruitment coordination, interviews when required and assistance with Engineering Apprentices requirements.

- Experience with safety and quality policies and procedures
- Experience supporting engineering initiatives in a manufacturing environment
- Administrative experience supporting quality policies and procedures
**Preferred Qualifications**:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Associate degree
- Strong planning, organisation, prioritisation and administration skills
- Knowledge of purchasing systems and suppliers to identify opportunities for cost improvements
