(After treatment (Eu6/Eu7) HOTand COLD end, SCR, Muffler/Dirty & clean air duct, Air box, Engine Cover.)

**Job Description**:

- Should have good knowledge on Dirty air duct, Air box, Clean air duct, Engine Cover design & its function
- Should know the Air box, Resonator - volume calculation, internals design & its function, EBOM & part number creation etc.
- Should have good knowledge on EU6 & EU7 after treatment ( Hot end & Cold end)
- Should know the muffler design - volume calculation, internals design & its function, water wading process, EBOM & part number creation etc.
- Good knowledge of sheet metal forming / Plastic moulding process
- Should have good understanding of packaging, mounting & fixing of Air intake/Exhaust components in vehicle environment, DFM, DFS, DFA.
- Interact with customer, internal design teams and understand constraints for developing the solutions
- Conduct benchmarking study of competitor’s products and prepare reports & Release of design in PLM and TC’e system,
- Should take responsibility for the design concept. Refines and improves product designs by conducting investigations and developing solutions.

Desired Skills and Experience

Excellent CATIA V5/V6 2D/3D skills.

Excellent PLM and Team Centre skills. Good knowledge of GD&T.

Experience with the following is mandatary

1. Exhaust System (Hot end)
- Emission control system’s likeEu6/Eu7

2. Exhaust System (Cold end) - Pipe dia selection, Muffler design, NVH targets, design rules etc.

3. Air intake system - Dirty air duct, Air box, Clean air duct, Engine Cover.
