Junior Architect

**JUNIOR ARCHITECT**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Assist in the development of architectural designs and plans for construction projects under the guidance of senior architects, ensuring they meet client requirements and local building codes.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and provide design solutions with the support and supervision of experienced architects.
- Assist in preparing detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications for construction projects.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design plans.
- Support senior architects in managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Contribute to feasibility studies and site analysis to assess project viability.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software under the guidance of senior architects to create and modify architectural drawings.
- Seek guidance and learning opportunities from senior architects to provide technical expertise.
- Collaborate with the team on quality control and assurance throughout the construction process.
- Experience in architectural design of steel building is an added advantage.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Bachelor's or master’s in Architecture (B.Arch and M,arch)

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 1 to 2 year years of experience
- Experience in architectural design of steel building is an added advantage.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in architectural design of steel building is an added advantage.
- Eagerness to learn and develop strong knowledge of architectural design principles and practices.
- Willingness to gain proficiency in CAD software and other architectural design tools.
- Developing project management skills under the mentorship of experienced architects.
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations (entry-level knowledge).
- Effective communication and a collaborative mindset to work within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to develop problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with supervision.
- Willingness to learn and eventually conduct site visits and inspections.
