**SHIKSHA Initiative** under Shiv Nadar Foundation (started in 2012 to eradicate illiteracy from Uttar Pradesh by creating a model which is easily replicable, scalable and measurable) is working with government schools in Uttar Pradesh with an aim to improve educational standards/learning outcome. Various interventions in this direction are being carried out including ICT content based on the current UPSERT curriculum and tactfully making it more inclusive and interesting for the students.

**Primary**:

- Teach students as per intervention designed for students and teachers
- To adopt Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and integrate in the traditional teaching and learning process in primary classes
- Support in digital content development by bringing field level feedback and experiences to storyboards and animations
- Creation and execution of Teaching Learning Materials and classroom activities
- Conduct the assessments timely for the students and score the responses based on guidelines
- Motivate/counsel parents for students whom they are teaching/interacting towards continuing education
- Based on deliveries/testing/pilot of new interventions/suggestion share feedbacks - in structured and unstructured manner
- Share needs/village/community related information to shape/realign programs along with innovative Ideas to increase/improve impact
- analysis of marks and attendance for individual students at school
- Participate in weekly meeting/reviews for effective planning and monitoring

**Secondary**:

- Community Mobilization/awareness program to sensitize community on education related areas
- To train new members of the team and government teachers at school level
- Maintain the records of student attendance data, enrolment information/ creating student database and record the success stories
- Share about other agencies intervention at school level /block level
- Visit other schools for testing/piloting at COE level
- Conducting house hold survey at village level [as per organization needs]

**Qualification**:

- Graduation with B.Ed./B.T.C./D.L.Ed. or post-graduation

**Mandatory**: Bike/ Scooty (one copy of driving license and registration certification must be submitted at the time of joining).

**Reporting Manager**: Project Manager, SHIKSHA CoE (or unless and until stated otherwise)

**Base Location**: SHIKSHA CoE headquarter

**Location of work**: Dadri and Sikandrabad

**Salary**: as per the experience/ negotiable
