Oasis Baklawa is a premium Middle Eastern and French fusion dessert brand, launching a luxurious flagship store in South Extension II. We offer artisan, 100% eggless, vegetarian cakes, pastries, and Arabic sweets.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to prepare and serve premium eggless desserts live behind the counter. The chef will also interact directly with customers, take orders, suggest products, and manage billing and packaging with precision.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and present live desserts (cakes, cronuts, brownies, macarons, kunafa & baklava-based treats) in cube boxes with aesthetic perfection.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free, and hygienic workspace visible to customers.
- Engage with customers to understand preferences, upsell, and personalize orders.
- Manage POS billing, order entry, and packaging accurately.
- Supervise or work with junior chefs/assistants to ensure seamless operation.
- Coordinate with team to ensure no customer leaves unbilled or empty-handed.
- Use vegetarian, eggless recipes and alternatives for popular egg based recipes.
- Uphold the brand’s luxury service standards with exemplary customer care.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years of work experience as a Pastry Chef at a well-established and renowned brand.
- Diploma or degree from a top culinary institute (India or abroad).
- Proven skills and career level at Chef de Partie or higher in the pastry/kitchen hierarchy.
- Proven experience in French-style and Arabic dessert preparation.
- Strong customer communication and sales skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a premium retail environment.
- Passion for presentation and taste perfection.
