**Who Are We Looking For?**

**Soft Skills Trainer (Pune Based)**

As SkillSphere Education continues to grow and moves into its next large-scale phase of expansion, **it has become imperative for us to hire individuals who can join our full-time team of trainers to conduct short term and long-term workshops.**

Additionally, these individuals need to assist our training and curriculum teams in ensuring quality control, curriculum updation among other aspects associated with training. The quality of our programmes and initiatives has always been our key differentiator, and as we continue to grow, we want to make sure that this continues to be the case.

**It is for these primary reasons that SkillSphere Education is looking to hire Soft Skills Trainers who are based out of Pune - one of our major areas of operations**

**A Typical Week In The Life Of A Soft Skills Trainer (Pune Based)**
- **Conducting primarily offline and some online training sessions in Pune. All of these sessions are those SkillSphere’s educational workshops such as Model UN workshops, Global Quizards workshops, Super Speakers workshops etc. **Training is going to be the most integral part of your job role and a substantial amount of time each day is going to be devoted to it.
- **Assisting the training and quality control team in management and proof reading of student reports, workshop coordination, and ensuring quality control measures are followed**
- **Assisting the curriculum team with basic content and curriculum updation as and when required**
- **Completing student reports, feedback forms and other responsibilities associated with conduct of specific workshops**
- **Coordinating with some of the trainers who are conducting different educational programmes for SkillSphere Education on a weekly basis** to collect feedback and other information related to session conduct.
- **Assisting the training department in coordinating with SkillSphere’s freelance trainers for the Train the Trainer sessions**. This shall be on a case to case basis
- **Working with SkillSphere Education’s core team on planning and strategization on a weekly basis.**

**What Should You Be Good At?**
- **Communication skills**: You must be able to speak freely and confidently with any person right from 8 to 80 years of age. Considering you are going to be assuming the role of a Soft Skills Trainer, you must be able to interact uninhibitedly in a range of environments.
- **Public speaking**: While we don’t expect you to be a Barack Obama, you should not suffer from stage fright or a complete lack of confidence when it comes to speaking in front of crowds. If this is not a problem, don’t worry about other nuances of public speaking. You will be trained comprehensively for public relations, and conducting workshops, educational programmes and events.
- **You must be passionate about the field of education and teaching students**: We are looking for people who are motivated about influencing social change through skill set development
- **Inter-personal skills and confidence**when meeting/interacting with individuals otherwise unknown to you. You must also have good presentation skills
- **Basic Content Development**
- **Collaboration and team work**
- **Global, national, and general awareness. **You must keep yourself abreast with important developments in the world
- **Seeing the bigger picture.** If you are going to be a part of the core team, you need to have a vision for yourself and align it with that of the company. We aren’t looking for someone interested in a 9 to 5 job only

**How Do We Assess Work?**

**SkillSphere Education follows a system which monitors task completion by all employees as per pre-decided timelines on a weekly basis. We value efficacy and efficiency over everything else.** In case you get selected for this position, client and student feedback about your performances as a trainer; ability to manage systems effectively and efficiently; and your ability to contribute to tasks associated with quality control & curriculum will play a major role in determining your performance.

**Where Will You Be Working From?**

For the longest time our entire team worked out of our office in Andheri, Mumbai or out of Pune. We have a couple of employees who also work out of Bengaluru and Delhi.

**However, post the lockdown, we realized that our efficiencies and creative juices flow even better while working in a hybrid set up. **Being based out of Pune, this job will be based out of home itself unless meetings require you to come to office. Beyond this, you will be traveling within Pune for conduct of different workshops

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
