About the Project:

Role Summary:

--------
- We are seeking an experienced **Database Administrator (DBA)** to manage, optimize, and secure the data infrastructure of our B2C Utility App. The DBA will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, performance, scalability, and availability across production and staging environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and maintain logical and physical database models for MongoDB and MySQL.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and manage database instances and clusters.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery through replication and backups.
- Write and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
- Monitor performance and proactively resolve slow queries and database bottlenecks.
- Implement and manage database security, roles, permissions, and encryption.
- Work closely with backend developers to optimize data access patterns and schema designs.
- Conduct regular audits, backups, restores, and capacity planning.
- Support production issues and provide quick resolutions to ensure business continuity.
- Automate database management tasks using scripts or DevOps tools.
- Document architecture, processes, and maintenance tasks clearly and regularly.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience with database administration in **MongoDB** and **MySQL**.
- Deep understanding of database internals, indexes, aggregation pipelines, and optimization.
- Experience with high-volume, high-availability transactional systems.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL and NoSQL queries.
- Knowledge of backup tools, point-in-time recovery, replication, and clustering.
- Strong knowledge of **data security, access control**, and encryption techniques.
- Experience collaborating with development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
