- **B.Tech / Diploma / ADIS / PDIS** (with relevant safety certifications)

**Roles and Responsibilities for Safety Officer (BHEL Project, Patratu)**

As a **Safety Officer** for the BHEL project at the Patratu location, your key responsibilities will include:

- **Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure all safety regulations and standards are being followed on-site, in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety guidelines and industry best practices.
- **Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification**:

- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and unsafe work conditions.
- Implement corrective measures to address identified risks, ensuring a safe working environment.
- **Safety Training & Awareness**:

- Conduct safety induction and ongoing training programs for all workers and staff on-site.
- Promote a safety-first culture by encouraging adherence to safety protocols at all times.
- **Emergency Response Planning**:

- Develop and implement emergency response procedures and ensure preparedness for accidents, injuries, and environmental hazards.
- Coordinate emergency drills and first-aid training sessions for staff.
- **Accident Investigation & Reporting**:

- Investigate accidents or near-misses and prepare detailed reports on findings and corrective actions.
- Submit periodic safety reports to the management and regulatory authorities.
- **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Management**:

- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) across the project site.
- Conduct periodic checks to ensure that all employees are equipped with necessary PPE.
- **Liaison with Authorities**:

- Act as the point of contact for regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with local safety laws.
- Keep records of inspections, safety audits, and corrective actions for auditing purposes.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Suggest improvements in safety policies and practices to minimize risks.
- Promote a culture of continuous safety improvement through employee feedback and ongoing monitoring.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
