We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Assistant Vice president - Decision Sciences**

**Principal responsibilities***
- Work with senior Quants to understand the limitations and assumptions of the models and design CCR(Counterparty Credit Risk) Model Monitoring methodologies.
- Implement monitoring and backtesting methodologies using Python
- Area of work includes Simulation & Pricing models, Collateral & Margining models and specific model development projects.
- Perform activities pertaining to First Line of Defense based on the CCR(Counterparty Credit Risk) Model Risk Management Framework
- Model development based on best industry practice
- Model calibration, monitoring and annual assessment
- Support model users such as Traded Risk Managers, Front Office and Product Control etc.
- Assist the Risk steward functions in second line of defense activities
- Support all governance forums by providing timely inputs and escalating issues when required.
Requirements
- Strong quantitative background, with a degree (Masters/PhD preferred) in Statistics/ Econometrics/ Economics/Mathematical Science/Engineering/Finance
- Good understanding of pricing, valuation, VaR, XVA, PFE
- Strong programming skills (Python, C++ etc.) in order to develop the models or making proof of concepts.
- Knowledge of numerical methods applied on these models is a definite advantage.
- Working experience on at least one of the following models: Black, Hull-White model (1 factor), Garman-Kohlhagen.
- Relevant experience in CCR model development, model validation and model management would be preferred.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, including within onshore / offshore team set-ups.
- Ability to drive results in a limited time duration and handle constant work related pressure.
- Knowledge and exposure to cloud analytics platform such as GCP, AWS Redshift, Azure etc. would be a plus but not mandatory
- Enthusiasm for proactively seeking, exploring and developing use cases for new data and/or tools/wider industry trends
