Why this role is important to us:
The team you will be joining is a part of Network Management. Network Management has Global oversight of nearly 150 subcustodian, International Central Securities Depositories (ICSD’s) and correspondent banking relationships. These banking institutions provide subcustody cash and securities processing services to State Street in over 100 counties. The Network Management team has global locations in APAC, Europe and the US.

This role supports a critical expense control function to State Street and also ensures that these vendors are charging State Street accurately, and that we are paying them accurately and in a timely manner. As part of the greater Network Management team, this position will be leveraged for additional Network Management assignments that will further challenge this individual and contribute to the overall subcustodian monitoring function.

What you will be responsible for:

- The Network Management Billing AVP is responsible for supervising and constantly improving all aspects of the subcustodian invoice processing process.
- These oversight tasks include invoice receipt, tracking, validation, expense categorization, billing system updates, payment preparation, tracking and authorization.
- Production of management reporting to support executive decision making
- Supporting the implementation of new technologies
- Identifies and analyzes operations risks related to current and potential processes and recommends procedural changes as needed
- Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and adds to, and improves existing procedures as needed
- Ensures timely resolution of issues while keeping management informed of any potential issues.
- Supporting Network Management, Finance, other billing teams, solve complex problems and reduce risk
- Effectively managing a growing team and interactions with Network Management globally.

- Previous experience with invoice processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal planning, and analytical skills
- Deadline and detail oriented
- Demonstrated computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel, as well as problem solving and analytical skills
- Prior experience with subcustodian banks and the financial services industry
- Time TBD but current is Bangalore evening
- Work Location : Bangalore with remote flexibility

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

- University degree in Business majoring in Accounting, Finance, or other Financial-related programs
- Overall experience in the financial services industry of 4+ years
