**Direct Reportees**

**Purpose Statement**
- The role will be responsible to perform costing run, accountable for higher level cost accounting activities like COPA assessment, inventory valuation and reconciliations. To produce timely, reliable and accurate financial information in accordance with applicabe regulatory requirements.

**Key Role & Responsibilities**
- Perform monthly costing run and support the onsite costing counterpart in error resolution
- Perform COPA assessment cycles
- Identify dead stock and inventory eligible for write off as per company policy
- Provide assistance in the BOM explosion process
- Perform variance analysis and cost allocations
- Perform any ad hoc costing analysis to support the on site counterpart
- Work within SAP to reconcile production, usage, receipts and shipments
- Regular inventory true up and reconciliations to GL
- Perform periodic reporting to support accuracy in financial reporting
- Period inventory reconciliations and annual physical inventory observations
- Provide adequate support to the audit team, whenever needed
- Prepare ESG cost (related to the products) data

**Job specification**

**Experience**
- 3-5 years of experience in managing Costing function, preferably in the manufacturing / chemical industry

**Qualification**
- Qualified Accountant (CA) / Qualified Cost Accountant (CWA) / Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
