We are looking to hire a Claims Generation Associate in our Global Powders Design Team, Home Care business based in Mumbai:
ABOUT THE ROLE

As a claims Specialist /Manager, you will be in a competitive environment with a highly skilled and experienced team working on data mining, creating, and substantiating claims for Core Homecare Powders Detergent Brand platforms globally.

COMPELLING CONSUMER CLAIMS
- Drive the claims ambition at the category, regional and project level thru leadership of claims brainstorming/workshops. Execute activities that drive technical product understanding and technical consumer insights into creative consumer communications for concept creation, label copy, advertising, public relations.
- Proficiency in the use of data mining, global trends brainstorming, out of category brainstorming, 3P Briefing to drive more ambitious communications.
- Translate product properties & performance into great claims insights.
- Capture all relevant claim support data, interpret, and write the claims support dossier.
- Contribute to final approval of all package label copy, advertising briefs and final commercials, public relations materials, and sales materials.
- Strong and at times fast decision-making ability.
- Build and maintain strong networks with cross functional (Brand, CMI, Legal & Regs S&T etc.)

COMPETITOR INTELLIGENCE & CHALLENGES
- Research oriented approach and extensive ability to look at evidence-based Homecare research.
- Analyse competitor activity across the world and translate learnings to business strategy for claims.
- Support development of new appraisal protocols for the Design teams for claim support.
- Co-ordinate Defense/ challenge approaches to claims between cross-functional partners (Legal, regulatory, R&D). Globally. In the event of product challenge, execute and prepare defence testing and claims dossier.
- Anticipate assessment and minimization of environmental, safety, regulatory, PR and competitive challenges.

X-Functional Interphase
- Execute Claim support testing plan for the products using various existing Product evaluation methodologies (for eg: Stain removal, Multiwash care tests etc.)
- Interfaces between R&D functions (Formulation, regulatory & Discovery) for thorough understanding and translating technology to claims.
- Responsible for Legal & regulatory clearances of products in respective markets Responsible for Project management, budget forecast and OTIF delivery on claim support.

SKILLS
- Good knowledge of Chemistry, experience in Claims for FMCG products would be an added advantage.
- Digital Savviness and data driven approach would be essential.
- Basic knowledge of consumer research methods, Knowledge of têxtile testing protocols will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently with cross-functional partners and external parties to lead the project work.
- Basic understanding and experience in competitor challenges. Global experience preferable.
- Understanding of legal, marketing law and product regulations regionally or globally.
- Working knowledge understanding of the claims challenge and substantiation process.
- Basic understanding of statistical tools and complex data analysis.
- Basic understanding of analytical methods.
- Experience in working on global projects a must. Must have experience in working across cultures.
- Excellent spoken English & presentation skills a must.
- Ability and experience to work with stakeholders remotely located in different parts of the world.
