As the Godown Incharge at BookWater Tech Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operations of our inventory and storage facilities. Your role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing warehouse processes, and ensuring the timely dispatch of goods to meet customer demands.
- Inventory Management: Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Regularly conduct stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Goods Receipt and Dispatch: Supervise the receipt of incoming goods, verifying quality and quantity against purchase orders.
- Coordinate the efficient dispatch of goods to customers, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Warehouse Organization: Organize and optimize warehouse space to maximize storage capacity and facilitate smooth operations.
- Implement systematic labelling and storage procedures for easy retrieval of goods.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety guidelines and compliance standards within the warehouse, ensuring a secure working environment.
- Adhere to legal requirements related to the storage and handling of goods.
- Team Management: Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Schedule and organize staff shift to meet operational requirements.
- Order Picking and Packing: Oversee the accurate picking and packing of orders, minimizing errors and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Implement best practices for order fulfilment processes.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that goods meet specified standards before dispatch.
- Address and resolve quality issues promptly and efficiently.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing goods, as well as stock movements.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, order status, and warehouse performance.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to coordinate the timely receipt of goods and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Arrange for repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the warehouse and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements in warehouse management.
- Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans to address unforeseen situations such as stock shortages, damaged goods, or other emergencies.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
