Housekeeping Supervisor

1) Assigns tasks to employees and checks to see if they are being completed in accordance with the hospital's established standards for cleanliness.
2) Looks into complaints about the equipment and services provided by housekeeping and takes appropriate action.
3) In order to arrange work assignments, you should get a list of the rooms that need to be cleaned right away and a list of potential check-outs or discharges.
4) Coordinates work efforts amongst departments.
5) Conducts orientation and in-service training to explain policies, work practices, and to show how to use and maintain the equipment of the ward boys and subordinate staff members of the housekeeping department.
6) Stock inventories to guarantee sufficient supplies.
7) Analyzes records to predict departmental staffing needs.
8) Offers suggestions for enhancing the level of service and ensuring more effective operation.
9) Creates reports on department expenses, wages, and room occupancy.
10)recommends hospital linen purchases and manages laundry services.
11) When necessary or when there is a staffing shortage, performs cleaning duties
12) Examines the building to discover whether any furniture or equipment needs to be replaced or repaired, then gives suggestions to management.
13) Participates in staff meetings to talk about company guidelines and client complaints.
14) Distributes tools and materials to employees.
15)Should be familiar with medical waste color coding and hospital biomedical waste disposal.
16) Must be fluent in both English and the native tongue. To manage the subordinate workforce, one should also have effective interpersonal relationships and communication abilities.
**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
