**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lesson Planning and Instruction**:

- Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum to teach math concepts at the primary school level (typically for grades 1-5).
- Focus on building foundational math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, basic geometry, fractions, measurement, and time.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methods, such as hands-on activities, visual aids, technology, and games, to make learning math enjoyable and effective.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and student engagement.
- Establish clear rules, routines, and expectations to ensure a well-organized classroom.
- Manage student behavior effectively, promoting respect, responsibility, and cooperation.
- **Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring**:

- Assess students' understanding of math concepts through both formal (tests, quizzes) and informal (observations, activities) methods.
- Provide feedback on student progress, identify areas of difficulty, and offer additional support as needed.
- Track and document students’ progress and performance, preparing reports for parent-teacher meetings.
- **Individualized Support**:

- Differentiate instruction to meet the varied learning needs of all students, including those who may require extra support or enrichment.
- Offer additional help during office hours or through one-on-one sessions for students who need extra assistance.
- Implement strategies to support students with learning disabilities or special needs in learning math concepts.
- **Collaboration with Colleagues**:

- Work closely with other teachers and staff to develop integrated lesson plans and ensure that students are progressing in all areas of the curriculum.
- Participate in staff meetings, teacher workshops, and professional development opportunities to improve teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with the school's math department (if applicable) to align teaching methodologies and share best practices.
- **Parent and Guardian Communication**:

- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student performance, challenges, and achievements in math.
- Provide strategies or resources for parents to support their child’s learning at home.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events to engage with the school community.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated on the latest teaching techniques, educational resources, and tools for math education.
- Implement innovative teaching methods to make math more relatable, interesting, and engaging for primary school children.
- Reflect on teaching practices and adjust methods based on student outcomes and feedback.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
