As a Chef de Partie (CDP), you will play a crucial role in our culinary team, demonstrating culinary skills, leadership, and creativity in your designated kitchen section. Responsible for ensuring high-quality food production, you will contribute to menu development, maintain kitchen standards, and oversee the preparation of dishes within your section.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and participate in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all food items are prepared to the highest quality and within designated timelines.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, guiding them in proper cooking techniques, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Assist the Sous Chef / Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and costing for your section.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure adequate stock for daily operations while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen team members to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation across all sections.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, consistently following kitchen protocols and procedures.
- Exhibit creativity and innovation in contributing ideas for menu enhancements and seasonal dishes.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and culinary standards, striving for continuous improvement.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen management.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for culinary excellence.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Flexibility to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹29,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
