Assistant Project Planner

T

his includes (but not limited to): T
- o develop and maintain Program Master Schedules in Primavera P6 A
- nd responsible for updating Project Schedule and to prepare recovery plan when needed T
- o review schedules, undertake analysis of baseline schedule and schedule updates, monitoring of schedule delays T
- o support in producing extension of time and prolongation claims by providing the required Primavera P6 program to support our submissions to clients. P
- reparing Monthly Schedule updates/reports and contributing in preparation of monthly reports M
- onitor and control the progress of work to be adhered to the planned schedule and achieving project milestone T
- o generate executive summary reports for higher management T
- o pro-actively follow up on any issue’s impacting the projects schedule T
- o provide support in the areas of project controls, scheduling, scheduling analysis, earned value management, claim analysis and construction activities in support of the program T
- o proactively manage and communicate with stakeholders by attending management meetings and making presentations and reports T
- o ensure proactive project planning, stakeholder and risk management takes place across projects A
- ccountable for identifying the major milestones to be attained through the Program/Projects completion T
- o oversee construction schedule, perform special analysis for resource loading and performance progress T
- o deliver presentations on all the above to Clients and internal managers T

- aking and maintaining appropriate commitments to project teams and coordinating design activities with multi-disciplined project team members. T
- his will be a client facing role and the incumbent must be having strong experience in project management, planning, monitoring and reporting of large size utility projects. C
- ontribute to the proposal and bidding work as and when required. C
- ollaborate with WSP ME office on project activities. P
- rovide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members. E
- ngage in training sessions and meetings dedicated to addressing targeted organizational initiatives. A
- bility to lead the projects and deal the client with hands on experience in project management processes/activities. W
- illingness to visit client offices/project sites in ME as and when required.

- ossess a Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical engineering from an accredited institution. H
- ave a minimum of ten years and a maximum of fifteen years of planning experience in the field of Power, Water, Substations, Transmission & Distribution, Renewable projects. P
- MP Certification will be an added advantage. P
- referably familiar with ME projects. Experience of working in a lead role on large size capital projects in India/ME while the ME experience will be an added advantage. E
- xperience in Power, Water and Renewable e.g. solar, wind and BESS projects is preferred. F
- amiliarity with software tools like Auto CAD, Primavera P6, MS Projects will be an added advantage. E
- xcellent verbal and written communication skills. S
- trong problem solving and analytical skills. B
- asic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. D
- emonstrated leadership skills. S
- elf-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
