**Responsibilities:Teaching and Curriculum Development**
- Design and deliver engaging Tamil language courses for undergraduate students.
- Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and syllabi.

**Mentoring and Student Support**
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students in their language-learning journey.
- Assist students in developing skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening comprehension.

**Research and Scholarship**
- Conduct independent research in Tamil language, literature, or related fields.
- Seek funding opportunities to support research projects.

**Collaboration and Professional Development**
- Collaborate with faculty and departments to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
- Participate in curriculum development, program assessment, and departmental activities.

**College and Community Engagement**
- Support the college's mission of addressing societal needs through education.
- Engage in community outreach to promote language and cultural preservation.
- Contribute to college events, committees, and initiatives.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- In-depth knowledge of Tamil language, literature, and cultural studies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with modern teaching technologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and students.
