**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Ø Assume overall responsibility for the preventive and breakdown maintenance of medical equipment of the hospital and its installation, calibration and testing and updating the reporting authority about the same.

Ø Oversee the adherence to the preventive maintenance plan and annual maintenance contract.

Ø Set up work instructions for all activities of the department and ensure their adherence.

Ø Provide technical Know-how during breakdowns.

Ø Coordinate with the company Engineer to upkeep the Equipments.

Ø Provide technical specification during the pre-post purchase.

Ø Review and consolidate the annual inventory plan and keeping a track of the stores and spare parts.

Ø Oversee adherence of AMC/CMC/Warranty as per schedule.

Ø Manage and evaluate the need for service contracts and their renewals.

Ø Prepare the annual expense budget for the department.

Ø Contribute to the new vendor development.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thandalam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
