Ayurveda Therapist

Responsibilities:

- Perform various Ayurvedic treatments and therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Panchakarma, and herbal massages in accordance with traditional Ayurvedic principles.
- Conduct detailed consultations with guests to assess their health conditions, lifestyle, and preferences, and recommend appropriate Ayurvedic treatments and therapies.
- Prepare and administer herbal remedies, oils, and other Ayurvedic formulations as prescribed by Ayurvedic physicians.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in treatment rooms and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments administered, guest consultations, and product inventory.
- Educate guests about Ayurvedic principles, lifestyle practices, and dietary recommendations to support their overall well-being.
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the wellness team, including Ayurvedic doctors, yoga instructors, and nutritionists, to provide comprehensive wellness programs for guests.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in Ayurveda and wellness industry through continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Ayurveda Therapist, preferably in a reputed Ayurveda resort or spa.
- Certification or diploma in Ayurveda Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Ayurvedic principles, therapies, and herbal remedies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Passionate about promoting holistic wellness and committed to providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
