**Job Scope**:
The Team Member Backup L3 will be responsible to Manage, debug, and support a large, sophisticated, multi-platform storage infrastructure that comprises servers, storage frames, big fiber channel SANs with many directors, and enterprise backup solutions. Conduct a root cause study of significant issues and offer solutions to guarantee company continuity. Determine, examine, and fix issues that are particular to storage, backup, and generally cross-platform situations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement Backup environment
- Responsible for implementing and managing the enterprise Backup environment
- Work with server team to implement operational processes and policies to ensure the best practices in areas of backup and archiving deployment, Security, reliability, availability serviceability and continuity.
- Communicate problem resolutions to other team members and management, and own or participate in the problem management process.
Provide escalation support for all backup/restore-related problems.
- Maintain backup environment problem records and documentation, and operating procedures.
Coordinate, day to day backup/restore monitoring activities to ensure optimal performance.
Develops and implements business continuity practices for backup management
- Installs, configures, tests, and implements backup software and hardware
- Monitors use and availability of backup resources
- Troubleshoots backup/restore related issues and takes appropriate actions
- Generates reports and analysis on backup resource usage
- Lead a team of L2 backup resources in the effective delivery of backup and archiving infrastructure services. Ensure staff acquire adequate skills to assist them in professional development and manage their work performance.
- Awareness on Environmental, Health and Safety, Energy, Information Security, Quality, Service Management, Business continuity and other management systems of the organization

**Must Have Skill**:

- Should be proficient in Motoring and management of backup environment.
- Should have knowledge on backup tools like NetBackup, Commvault, Legato Networker, Veem etc.
- Should have significant leadership skills to manage the backup team.

**Good to have Skills**
- Should have knowledge on SAN/Storage
- Should have knowledge on virtualization
- Should have knowledge on private, public and hybrid clouds
- Should have knowledge on migration of data from one environment to other

**Qualification and Experience**:

- Diploma / bachelor’s degree on relevant field.
- Minimum 10+ years in relevant field.
