Principal Application/Product Architect- 15+ years of total IT experience with minimum 6 yrs experience as an Architect handling multiple programs / products-
- Proactively lead and drive the effort to identify technology stack, design decision, deployment architecture and its documentation- Works with the multiple groups and team along with product owners/managers to design and implement innovative solutions to address specific business problems- Translates complex functional, technical, and business requirements into architectural designs including the technology strategy and roadmap(s) of Future state architecture- should be able to provide 50% bandwidth for technical items and 50% in tracking managing the milestones from different programs-
- Actively participates in planning, code reviews, and iteration demos by attending and fully engaging in meetings; building cost/benefit analyses of design alternatives; assisting team and product owners with providing estimates for resource requirement during development planning; demonstrating assigned story solutions back to team; providing feedback and input on planned and coded solutions; and identifying, recommending, and implementing improvements to the development process- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with solid teamwork ethic and customer focus- Involved in creating POC, interact with architect within groups to strategize development and build technical roadmap- Evaluate third party software products used in the solution as needed- Strong knowledge of Micro service and Azure development- Lead technology team in architecting highly scalable/reliable/secure cloud-based products
- Scale out and load balance- Disaster Recovery / Failover at various tiers- High Availability / Reliability / Resilience / Elasticity- Side by side development and deployment- Large data volume handling & Performance
- Security considerations- Ensure secure coding practices are implemented in the development- Identify trainings needed for the team. Periodic code review- Create documentation and collaborate with the Architecture Review Board for architecture review and finalization-
- Ensure best design practices and processes are followed for continuous improvement of product.
- Prior Experience- 15+ years of total IT experience with minimum 6 yrs extensive experience as an Architect handling multiple programs / products- Focus on Agile Methodologies, such as Scrum, Lean Startup and the Scaled Agile Framework- In-depth knowledge of enterprise systems, networking modules, and software integration- Ability to see big-picture designs from basic specifications- Strong experience and deep understanding of Microsoft Tech Stack i.e. Asp.net, C#,.NET Core, SQL Server, Web Services etc.- Strong Knowledge in Object-Oriented programming concepts- Preferred experience in Micro service and Azure development. Azure services (including App service, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions and Docker)- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with solid teamwork ethic and customer focus.
