Job Description: ServiceNow System Administrator
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user management, roles, groups, and permissions.
Configure and customize the platform to meet business needs, including UI updates, form creation, and module enhancements.
Perform regular health checks, system updates, and upgrades to maintain platform stability and compliance.
Monitor ServiceNow performance and troubleshoot any technical issues or incidents.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions withi9ioln the platform.
Maintain CMDB data integrity by implementing effective governance practices.
Manage platform security, including ACLs, encryption, and integrations with authentication systems (e.g., SSO, LDAP).
Develop and maintain platform documentation, including workflows, scripts, and procedures.
Provide training and support to end users, addressing technical issues and optimizing user experience.
Coordinate with ServiceNow support for bug fixes, feature requests, and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a ServiceNow System Administrator or equivalent role.
In-depth understanding of ServiceNow platform features, including ITSM, CMDB, and Knowledge Management.
Proficiency in managing roles, permissions, and security best practices on the platform.
Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and patches.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with basic ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) is a plus.
ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator) are preferred.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users
