**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- You will be performing day to day DB2 administration and production support.
- You will Install and implement DB2, DB2 tools, Patches as required
- Manage incidents at Customer account
- DB2 database Administration/Support
- Perform Storage Space management
- Database Security Administration
- Maintain Configuration details
- Execute configuration changes to DB2
- Review and maintain system configuration documentation
- Troubleshooting of DB2 related problem
- Proactive system monitoring and support
- Level 3 Ticket resolution

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in IT Industry
- Experience in installation, configuration and upgradation administration on Windows and UNIX environments to support Oracle upto 19c & also on Cloud platforms
- Database configuration including configuration of background processes
- Database performance optimization & fine tuning
- Configuring the Database in Archive log mode
- Configuring RMAN Backup
- Configuring Hot Backup
- Maintaining Database in archive log mode
- Devising Database backup strategy
- Monitoring & checking the Database backup & recovery process
- Database troubleshooting
- Database recovery incase of crash
- Setting up standby and test Database if required
- Database security
- Enabling auditing features wherever required
- Table space management
- Database Analysis report
- Configuring & usage of front end tool & connectivity to oracle
- Troubleshooting of front end tool if required
- Database health monitoring
- Log monitoring in scheduled manner
- Database log purging activity

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Working knowledge on Cloud & On Prem ORACLE DBA Systems, architecture and Application Integrations
- Understanding about Exadata specified features such as Smart Scan, HCC Hybrid Columnar Compression, Flash Cache, etc.
- Provide and implement performance tuning recommendations of all components in Exadata database machine.
- ORACLE DBA securities like SSL and OAM
