**JOB REQUISITES**:
**ROLE SUMMARY**:
WSP India Energy & Process Canada group is currently looking for Jr. CAD technicican/Designer-Electrical to Carry design activities of assigned project. He / She Will also be involved in mentoring and sharing their experience with all tm members as well as in training, development and Continuous improvement activities.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Expected designer skills would include:

- Basic electrical principals
- Strong English communication skills, both written and oral
- Autocad
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and terminology
- Familiar with electrical design documents
- Area classification
- Single line diagrams
- Distribution panel layout
- Cable and conduit schedule

Electrical schematics
- Lighting design
- Control panel c/w I/O schematics
- Junction box layouts
- Process and building electrical and control layout
- Electrical Heat trace design
- Electrical Bill of Materials
- Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code

**KEY COMPETENCIES / SKILLS**:

- AUTO CAD
- NAVISWORKS
- AUTO CAD
- CAD WORX
- AUTOPLANT
- PDMS

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering
- 2-4 years experience in electrcial design & drawimg deleiverables.
