**INVENTORY CONTROLLER**

**Responsibilities of Inventory Controller**
- Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures
- Track shipments and address any delays
- Evaluate suppliers’ offers and negotiate profitable deals
- Coordinate and conduct regular inventory audits
- Implementing loss prevention activities
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory
- Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders
- Train other employees in inventory management
- Lead the team in safe working practices
- Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management
- Track rates of accuracy, purchase and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisions
- Reviewing inventory and stock and investigating suspected pilferage
- Documenting theft and other security violations

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data
- Prior experience in retail and warehouse management
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Superior observational skills
- Knowledgeable on safety processes and procedures
- Efficient in financial reporting
- Efficient in analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Location: Trivandrum**
