**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Title: Costing Associate I**

Location: India

**ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Responsible for formatting vendor price lists for entry into Mouser systems.
- Reviewing vendor price lists and identify information pertinent to product investment, pricing, lifecycle, etc.
- Analysis of vendor price lists and the differences between new data and the existing system data.
- Responsible for preparing vendor price list data to update corresponding records in the system.
- Perform part builds for suppliers wherein there are no Mouser part numbers in the system.
- Detailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking abilities while participating in the total quality process.
- Ability to communicate, professionally and effectively, with all levels of the organization internally and with external customers.
- Solid understanding of Cost Updates processes and guidelines.
- Receive and format vendor price lists for entry into Mouser systems.
- Review vendor price lists and identify information pertinent to product investment, pricing, lifecycle, etc.
- Perform analysis of vendor price lists and the differences between new data and the existing system data
- Prepare vendor price list data to update corresponding records in the system
- Perform data entry using various computer programs, spreadsheet or database commands and format material as required.
- Detailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking abilities while participating in the total quality process.
- Ability to communicate, professionally and effectively, with all levels of the organization internally and with external customers.
- Trustworthy and maintains confidentiality.
- Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.

**SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS**:

- Possess strong attention to detail skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to multi-task, type data for long periods of time
- Effective time management
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Able to use, read, interpret spreadsheets, printed reports and terminal screens.
- PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment; proficient with internet, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and other software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Skill evaluation: Math 90%, Spelling 90%, Advanced Excel 70%, Typing 40 WPM

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Requires a Degree in BBA/BBM/BCom or any equivalent discipline.
- Fresher or a min of 1 year previous experience in Pricing/Costing.
