- US Sales and Use Tax compliance._
- Lead the Accounting and Financial reporting team out of Genpact. - Ensure timeliness and Accuracy of all deliverables - Provide guidance to team for correct accounting treatment - will be working as escalation point if needed_
- Responsibilities_
- The person will be responsible for day to day and accounting and month end close journals Review_
- and coordination_
- _Review and Validate Inputs for journals processing_
- _Balance sheet reconciliations Review and clearing of open items_
- _Identify process improvement and standardization of process_
- _Month end Financial Reporting Preparation and Review_
- _Investigate and research open items and follow up/escalate with different teams for resolution of_
- open items_
- _Adherence to the internal/external US GAAP/SOX audits_
- Qualifications we seek in you_
- Minimum qualifications_
- Accounting graduates with relevant experience, CA/CMA preferred._
- _Working experience with ERPs, specifically SAP would be preferred_
- _Experience in reconciliations tool eg Blackline would be added advantage_
- _Prior experience with Retail Clients with same size would be preferred_
- _Good Interpersonal skills and ability to manage complex task and communicate well Leadership_

- Develop Self and Other Effective leadership and team management abilities_
- Preferred qualifications_
- Strong Accounting and Analytical skills_
- _Good understanding of accounting GAAP (US GAAP preferred) principles and strong analytical_

- _Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and drive things to closure_
- _Good hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft_
- with System, Customers and Key Stakeholders_
- _Prior experience working remotely in a US time zone would be a plus Attention to_
- Detail: Accomplishing tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small: showing concern_
- for all aspects of the job, accurately checking processes and tasks._
- Determining Financial Impact: Understanding the financial consequences of decisions_
- _Valid US Visa_
