Junior Warehouse Supervisor - Arman Foodtech Private Limited

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and organized Junior Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Bangalore. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, leading and supervising a team of warehouse workers while prioritizing safety, productivity, and optimal inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
*Supervise and Lead: Oversee and direct a team of warehouse workers, providing clear instructions, guidance, and motivation to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, receive and store incoming goods, implement proper stock rotation and picking procedures, and contribute to minimizing stock loss and damage.
- Warehouse Operations: Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Safety and Security: Implement and maintain a safe work environment for all warehouse staff by adhering to company safety procedures and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and troubleshoot operational problems, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to find solutions and improve processes.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance warehouse efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with team members, Warehouse Manager, and other departments to ensure smooth collaboration and information flow.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, productivity metrics, and any incidents or concerns, using the company's designated systems and platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping procedures, with a focus on handling food products safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using warehouse management software and other relevant computer programs.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices is a plus.
