**Job Description: ETL Tester (4-5 Years of Experience)**:

**Shift Timing**: 9 am to 5 pm EST (7:30 pm IST to 3:30 or 4 PM IST, 8 Hrs shift)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Validate** ETL processes** to ensure data is extracted, transformed, and loaded correctly across all layers.
- ** Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.**:

- Perform data reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies in data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of data pipelines, including source, transformation logic, and target systems.
- Test data models and database designs to ensure compliance with business requirements.
- Work closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and address issues.
- Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and suggest corrective measures.
- Maintain documentation of test results, defect reports, and quality metrics.
- Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies during testing.

**Required Skills**:

- ** ETL Tools**: Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or SSIS.
- ** Database Management**: Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server.
- ** Data Analysis**: Strong understanding of data profiling, validation, and reconciliation techniques.
- ** Scripting Languages (Optional)**: Familiarity with Python, Shell scripting, or other automation tools for ETL testing.
- ** Big Data Tools (Optional)**: Exposure to Hadoop, Spark, or other big data platforms is a plus.
- ** Agile Methodologies**: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- ** Soft Skills**: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in ETL Testing and data validation.
- Certification in ETL tools or data management (preferred).
