**Job Title: Mechanical Design Trainee (Fresher)**
**Location**:Atlas Transformers India Limited (Por)**
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Create and modify 2D and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
- Support senior engineers in prototyping, testing, and evaluating mechanical systems.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute innovative ideas and improvements.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and documentation.
- Perform basic engineering calculations (stress, tolerance, thermal, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Assist in troubleshooting design and production issues.
**Qualifications**:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
- Basic understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Internship or project experience in mechanical design.
- Exposure to simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
- Knowledge of PLM systems and technical documentation standards.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
